Project Description:

North Dakota State University’s State-of-the-Art 41,600 sq ft Greenhouse and Research facility is one of the most advanced in the region. The project is a hybrid of steam heating in the research ranges and geothermal in the head-houses. The Project consists of extremely innovative mechanical design features such as:

  1. Hybrid mechanical system – combination heating campus steam and geothermal heat pumps
  2. Greenhouse ventilation
  3. Bio hazard Level III Clean Rooms
  4. Energy recovery from growth chambers
  5. Variable sash exhaust control fume hoods
