We are happy to announce that Andrew Bartsch and Ned Rector in our Fargo office became a partner at Obermiller Nelson Engineering on January 1, 2016.
Bartsch has been an Electrical Engineer at Obernel for seven years but has been involved in the electrical construction industry since the age of 14 – first as an apprentice electrician in his family’s business followed by three years of CAD, design, and engineering internship. Since graduation from NDSU, he has been employed full time as an electrical engineer broadening his project experience to include government, institutional, commercial, health care, assisted living, residential, religious, hotel/motel, office and civil projects.
Rector is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of building mechanical systems experience. He has worked on several high profile mechanical projects and has been involved in many aspects of the mechanical engineering and mechanical construction business. His professional roles have included consulting engineer, mechanical contractor, HVAC service manager and campus capital projects director involving all construction types. He is experienced in all facets of mechanical building design including plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection and automatic control systems.
