Summer coming to an end tends to feel bittersweet. We say farewell to warm weather, days outside, and relaxed summer schedules. And we welcome colorful leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and football season. But, unfortunately, the end of summer also means our summer internships are coming to a close. Soon the interns will be back to class and — hopefully — sharing what they’ve learned during their internship with classmates.
As they head back to school, we wanted to take a minute to share what their team members had to say about them.
Kudos to Becca for being a contributing member of the Fargo engineering team for this summer’s internship. Becca quickly picked up mechanical engineering design concepts and help out on a plethora of projects throughout the summer.
She was open to learning about new projects and expanding her knowledge base. We are looking forward to that continuing with her this fall and seeing her grow.

Anna has worked on a wide variety of tasks in our Minneapolis office, and each time has impressed the people she works with. While some interns will be stuck at the office doing mundane tasks, Anna was put into a customer-facing role working directly with an architect and hospital staff inventorying systems at a large hospital facility. She professionally represented Obernel, and the client said she was on our A-Team. A strong work ethic and quiet professionalism have made Anna a valued member of our team.

Thanks, Nate, for being so flexible to accommodate changes in plans for your summer internship. You were one of our go-to team members for the VA site investigations across the midwest. Our client appreciated your innovative thinking and problem solving, and your positive and professional attitude represented Obernel very well. Thanks for your hard work and dedication!

Trent did an excellent job this summer! He was a vital part of our crew and frequently anticipated our needs, going above and beyond to help solve problems for others. Trent is a great team member, and we will miss him while he (temporarily) is away at class!
